I’m in-network with many major insurance plans in both Texas and Florida through Headway. If your plan is eligible, you’ll be able to use it for sessions.
That said, some clients still choose to pay out-of-pocket for the added privacy, flexibility, and control it provides. If you're unsure which route is best for you, I’m happy to help talk through your options.
*All Sliding Scale spots are currently full.

I am currently credentialed through Headway and can accept the following insurance plans: Aetna, Cigna, Oscar (Optum), Oxford (Optum), and United Healthcare (Optum). You’re welcome to use this link to check your benefits, or feel free to reach out - I’m happy to look into them for you on my end as well.

I work with many major insurance plans, but if I’m not in-network with yours, you may still be able to use your out-of-network benefits to get reimbursed for part of your sessions. Here’s how that usually works:
You pay me directly for sessions.
I provide you with a “superbill” (basically a detailed receipt).
You send it to your insurance company, and - if your plan includes out-of-network mental health coverage - they’ll reimburse you for a portion of the cost.
First steps:
Call the number on the back of your insurance card.
Ask if your plan covers outpatient mental health with an out-of-network provider.
Double-check if you need to meet a deductible first.
Some clients just choose private pay for the added privacy and flexibility it provides. Either way, I’m committed to keeping therapy as accessible as possible.

Yes! All therapy sessions are held online unless you're booking a beach walk session (the only in-person option I offer). That means you can show up from anywhere in Texas or Florida—comfy clothes, pets, and all.
-
At this time, the only in-person sessions I offer are Beach Walk Therapy—because sometimes the best place to process is with your feet in the sand and the sea breeze in your hair. You can head over to this page to learn more about what these sessions are like and whether they might be a good fit for you.

Each session is about 55 minutes. The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you hope to get out of it, and any questions you have. I’ll guide the conversation gently—no pressure to share everything all at once.
-
I welcome the integration of faith, but never force it. For clients who want their Christian beliefs to be part of therapy, I’m happy to hold space for prayer, scripture reflection, or spiritually grounded conversation. And if that’s not something you’re looking for—that’s absolutely okay too. My goal is always to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and tailored to you.

Totally okay. Many people need time to decide. You're welcome to follow along on Instagram for now, or schedule a free 15-minute call to see how it feels. There’s no pressure—just an open door when you're ready.
-
In many cases, yes! Depending on your location and licensing laws, I may be able to offer virtual sessions while you’re abroad. If not, I can still support you when you're stateside - whether you're preparing to leave, taking a furlough, or reentering. Reach out and we can talk through options.
-
I ask that all sessions be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. If you cancel late or don’t show up, you’ll be charged the full session fee. For clients using insurance, that means you’ll be charged the full private pay rate of $125, as insurance doesn’t cover missed appointments. Life happens, so if something unexpected comes up, just reach out - we’ll do our best to navigate it together.

alright, i think i’m ready! 💌
