Therapy for Emerging Adults & Young Professionals in Florida + Texas
cause being in your 20s and 30s can basically feel like a full-time identity crisis
a space to stop pretending, stop spiraling, and finally get curious about what’s actually going on underneath the anxiety, burnout, and panic
Let’s be real: “adulthood” was supposed to feel a little more stable by now. Instead, it’s a confusing blend of job pressure, relationship drama, family baggage, burnout, spiritual whiplash, and the sneaking suspicion that everyone else figured it out faster than you.
This is therapy for the over-thinkers, the anxious achievers, and the 2am Google searchers. Whether you're dealing with chronic anxiety, trauma that won’t stay buried, OCD spirals, panic attacks, or relationships that leave you drained and second-guessing—it’s a space to slow down, get honest, and actually do something with what’s swirling under the surface.
I offer online counseling for young adults and professionals in their 20s and 30s across Florida and Texas—including Largo, the Tampa Bay area, and San Antonio. Whether you’re in college, out of college, building a life, rebuilding a life, or just trying to be a semi-functional human with bills and feelings—this space is for you.
I specialize in therapy for 20- to 30-somethings navigating:
Anxiety, OCD, panic attacks… or just a constant hum of “what is wrong with me?”
Big life transitions — graduation, moving, job changes, breakups, or faith shifts
Patterns of over-functioning, over-apologizing, or quietly self-sabotaging
Patterns of shutting down emotionally, ghosting people you actually care about, or pretending you don’t need anyone
Feeling numb, detached, or like you’re watching your life happen instead of living it
Identity confusion around career, relationships, or just… who you are
Old family dynamics or trauma that still sneak into your present-day life
Recent sexual assault or unresolved experiences that are on repeat in your mind or dreams
The exhausting mental gymnastics of trying to “be enough” all the time
what to expect

Intrusive thoughts? Compulsive behaviors that eat your time, energy, or peace of mind? OCD is not a quirky personality trait—it’s a misunderstood and often debilitating experience. I primarily use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), the gold standards in OCD treatment. Together, we’ll face the fears directly, defuse from the mental loops, build tolerance for uncertainty, reduce compulsive behaviors, and help you reclaim your time and mental energy. EMDR may be integrated down the road, but we start with what works best: evidence-based, skills-focused support.

If your brain is constantly playing out worst-case scenarios while your body lives in a near-constant state of “danger,” you’re not alone—and you’re not broken. I take a polyvagal-informed ACT and EFT approach here: helping your nervous system feel safe and helping your thoughts step off the catastrophizing hamster wheel. You’ll learn to make space for anxious feelings without letting them run the show.
-
Panic isn’t just a more intense version of anxiety—it’s a whole system overwhelm. Using polyvagal-informed ACT, we’ll build both in-the-moment and between-the-moment tools to recognize and respond to the rising levels of activation before they hit full-blown panic. And we won’t just target “anxiety”—because sometimes panic comes from buried anger, grief, rejection, or shame. We’ll get curious and compassionate, not just reactive.

Whether it’s your partner, your parents, your roommate, your boss, or your best friend who’s suddenly ghosted you—relationships are where our stuff shows up. I combine EFT (to explore your attachment style and emotional needs) with DBT (to build skills, boundaries, and radical acceptance for what’s outside your control). Expect to get honest about how you show up, what you want, and what needs to change—without blaming yourself for being human.
-
This is the most relational therapy I do. Whether it’s a single incident or a lifetime of small, heavy things, trauma work starts with trust. I use ego states therapy and EMDR to help access, understand, and unburden the parts of you that have been carrying too much for too long. But before we do any of that, we build a safe-enough space where your story can be held with care—not rushed, not judged, not invalidated.

Graduation. First job. Breakup. Career pivot. Friendships that fade. Existential dread. The “WTF am I doing with my life” spiral. Transitions shake everything up—and that includes your faith, your identity, and your nervous system. Here, I use existentially-oriented ACT (including Christian integration if that’s meaningful to you) to help clarify your values and align your actions with what matters most. We’ll also use EFT to make space for all the messy emotions that come with change—not to get rid of them, but to move through them in a way that doesn’t leave you stuck.
new to therapy (or burned by it before)?
Totally get it. Starting therapy can feel weird—especially if your last experience felt more like a lecture than a lifeline. Maybe you were talked at instead of listened to. Maybe you left feeling more confused—or not seen at all.
Here’s the deal: therapy with me won’t be perfect (because I’m human), but it will be collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in real relationship. Whether we’re working on anxiety, OCD, trauma, relationships, or just untangling the chaos of your 20s or 30s, this space is for you.
You won’t be treated like a project or handed a generic workbook and told to “just journal about it.” And you also won’t be judged for showing up, mess and all.
Sometimes we’ll disagree. That’s not a dealbreaker—it’s part of the work. This relationship is a practice space for the rest of your relationships: a place to build trust, repair, and healthy conflict skills that you can carry into your other relationships, too.
When you're ready, bring your full, unfiltered self—questions, doubts, weird coping mechanisms, spiritual baggage and all.
